Mount Sidley is Antarctica's highest volcano, towering at 4,285 meters (14,058 feet) in the remote Executive Committee Range of Marie Byrd Land. This massive, snow-covered shield volcano features a 5 km-wide caldera formed by an explosive eruption about 4.7 million years ago, with blue-ice slopes and unique snow mushrooms along its upper ridges.
