Mount Giluwe is the second-highest peak in Papua New Guinea and the highest volcano of Oceania continent, standing at 4,367 meters (14,327 feet) above sea level. Located in the Western Highlands, it is part of the Bismarck Range. Known for its distinctive, dome-shaped summit, Mount Giluwe is a popular destination for trekkers and climbers. The mountain is also significant for its rich biodiversity and is home to a variety of endemic species, making it an important site for both naturalists and adventurers.
